Keeping You Safe
We recognise that these are challenging times for everybody.
However, we also recognise that life has to go on and people still want to have nice experiences.
To support this we have introduced a number of precautions to operate as a COVID-19 safe environment. This page provides a bit more information about the steps we have introduced.
However, we must request that if you or any of your group are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms or have been advised to self-isolate by NHS Track and Trace that you do not attend. We need to keep all our customers and staff safe in these challenging times.

Track and Trace
When you enter the studio for a painting session you will be asked to either:
- Scan our Track and Trace QR code and show the result to our member of staff; or,
- Provide contact details on the provided slips of paper.
Any details captured as part of this process will only be used for track and trace and be held securely for 21 days before being destroyed. We will not be using these details for any other purpose.
You will not need to provide any details if you are only picking up a take-out kit or collecting a previously painted item of pottery.
All painting sessions are 90 minutes, allowing us up to 30-minutes between sessions to perform the necessary cleaning and sanitisation.
Cleaning involves the use of sanitising spray on paint bottles, brushes and any furniture that has been used in the previous session. The toilet will also be cleaned in-between sessions, although sanitising spray is provided for your convenience.
All we ask is you socially distance when entering or exit the studio being mindful of your fellow customers.
Although we have seating for 42 people, we are currently operating at smaller numbers to allow us to space customers for social distancing. The exact number we can seat will vary depending on group sizes (remember though no more than six!) who attend at a particular time.
For this reason we recommend that you pre-book a session to avoid disappointment, especially at peak times!
In line with current Government rules, where customers are able to, a face covering should be worn when entering, exiting or moving around the studio.
However, we recognise that not all people can wear face coverings due to valid exemptions. All of our staff have been trained to be sensitive in these situations and will not challenge you. We also request that all our customers are also mindful of this and show due consideration to all studio users.
Although we have lots of choice for you to paint, before it is glazed and put through the kiln it cannot be easily sanitised after handling. With this in mind we are requesting that customers browse our selection without handling anything.
Once you have identified the item you would like one of our staff members will lift it off the shelf and put it on the table.
Closing the Studio
As you can see from the list above, we are doing everything possible to remain open. However, there may be times when we need to shut the studio at short notice.
In these situations we will do everything we can to provide notification to any person who has pre-booked, but we do ask for your patience and understanding in this unprecedented situation.
