We’re on a roll! Yet another Whitby Kiln first. Sunday 17th October sees us run two fidget ring workshops, made using silver clay jewellery!
Interested? Well keep on reading
The tools are coming out and the expert is on hand. Amie, our very experienced and lovely host for these workshops, will take you through the entire process to create the 3 (yes that is three!) individual components that make up the fidget ring.
The main component, which will be the larger of the three, will be crafted and textured by you! You’ll then get to make another 2 smaller items, plain or textured – you choose, that will will fit over the top of the main one to complete your fidget ring. They’ll even swivel around the main body once complete, how satisfying!
Within the workshop you will learn how to measure and size your ring, form, saw, solder and shape. Amie will also show you how to polish them as well!
Best of all you will be able to wear your ring by the end of the workshop, no need to wait for a firing process!
Booking your Place
Due to the fact we need to let you use a variety of tools we’re afraid that this is an adult only event (18+)! Spaces for each of the workshops are limited to 6 people so we advise you getting your reservation in fast! Both sessions are run on the same day, just after different times:
As part of the ticket price you’ll also receive a complementary hot drink, and we’ll see about some nice biscuits to go alongside it! Soft drinks are also available but they will be charged at the normal prices.
